In the present era of advanced knowledge and skills, human society has become increasingly dependent on digital platforms for almost all activities. Unfortunately, during this transition, our mother tongue Odia is often ignored in favor of other languages. As a result, the use of the Odia language in the digital domain has been gradually declining.

To protect, promote, and expand the Odia language, Odia typing training has become an extremely important and timely initiative. In today’s digital age, most government, private, and educational activities are carried out through computers, mobile devices, and the internet. If Odia is not effectively used in digital media, there is a serious risk that its usage will continue to decline.

Through this training program, students, government and private employees, youth, teachers, writers, women and self-help groups, and the general public will be able to easily write and work in Odia using computers, mobile phones, and other digital devices.

This will enable extensive use of Odia in official correspondence, advertisements, orders, reports, emails, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.

What will you learn?

This training program provides complete knowledge of digital typing along with practical usage of the Odia language. The course consists of four levels, divided into 24 lessons with more than 50 activities. Each lesson is designed for one hour.

• Typing methods for the Odia alphabet
• Usage of matras and conjunct characters
• Typing practice of commonly used words
• Writing dates and numbers in words
• Sentence formation and structuring
• Paragraph writing and composition skills
• Word and paragraph editing techniques
• Writing applications, messages, and request letters
• Preparing advertisements, notices, and meeting-related letters
• Job and education-related applications, emails, and other digital tasks

Through this training, participants will be able to type proficiently in Odia and efficiently handle daily, academic, and professional tasks. At the end of the program, all participants will receive a certificate from the Odia Virtual Academy (OVA).
